Antique Corner Chair Intricate Marquetry Inlay Turned legs and cross stretcher. This is a stunning Arts and Crafts corner chair dating from the early 20th century with gorgeous detailing. This is very much in the manner of William Birch. A very beautiful mahogany corner chair with a cross inlay at the back and along the edge of the bentwood backrail. A highly collectable, rare and original piece, this chair came from a farm here in the Yorkshire Dales. The frame is very delicate with slight movement, there is no woodworm or damage the sat is a plain fabric so really your very own blank canvas. This is an absolutely beautiful little bedroom or fireside chair and would be perfect for the home, display or a prop. 69cm high 40cm seat height 41cm x 41cm diameter 58cm widest point across. Collection welcome from Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. I'm happy to post using recycled materials from local shops in the village.
