From a New England estate. Visually appealing Arts and Crafts Era brass pendant porch or interior light has its original etched yellow glass cylinder shade, Hubbell patented socket and shade fitter, Bryant bakelite (working) switch. Stylized pierced brass body with arches.
Interior steel ring holds the glass insert in place and has caused a few expansion cracks at the edge. These are fairly regular and almost seem to be a part of the design. Brass shade fitter is stamped Hubbell and has various patent dates. Main brass portion measures 6 3/4H to the top of the Hubbell shade fitter. Assembled, the shade and canopy measure 22H inclusive of the socket, three-link chain, decorative brass pipe and canopy cap.
