This antique shabby chic'Arts and Crafts' oak wind out dining table is well over 100 years old and is absolutely solid. This has been our dining table for almost the past 10 years. The frame and legs were chalk painted some years ago to create a more contemporary shabby chic look that would fit into any modern house and yet still look good for those with more traditional antique tastes.
At the moment it has been fixed at the fully wound out size and a couple of short rails have been screwed in either side for completeness of look along each side (see phots). The 3 screws holding each side can be easily removed and the table wound in to its smaller size. Dimensions fully wound out ie as per the photographs: approx 148 cms x 106 cms; Fully wound in with central leaf removed: approx 119 cms x 106 cms. Height to top of table is 76 cms.Archibald Kenrick casters have been fitted to each leg so that this very heavy table can glide easily around the room when moved. The casters also give the table a bit of extra height. We live in the Matlock area of Derbyshire. Please see other items for sale.
