Arts and Crafts Oak Dressing Screen by Liberty & Co (100678)
An Arts and Crafts oak dressing screen, retailed by Liberty & Co, c 1900s. Three fold screen, each fold made of 9 panels, stencilled stained floral design to the top of each panel, original brass hinges. In oak, structurally sound, but with some warping to the decorated panels, and a couple of hairline splits to individual upright panels - see images. These screens are beautiful but delicate, and need to be moved carefully. They would make a good headboard for a bed.
Dimensions: H173cm, W50cm (each panel). About Walcot and Co: we source interesting antique, art and decorative items, and restore them, ready for another generation of use.
