It is possible that the carved side panels were from a much earlier piece of furniture. Both doors look to be from the same period obviously one is carved the other plain. It has an Elizabethan style to the overall look but was definitely made Circa 1900 in my opinion. The top cupboard overhangs the bottom cupboard by approx 14cm this gives the carving great overall prominence. My plans have changed now so hence the sale.
Solid Oak Construction with a high percentage quarter sawn oak. Top cupboard pin type hinge broken, pin lost. Both carved side panels are slightly loose. This whole top section will need some attention / TLC.A chip out of the oak side panel as shown in a picture will need a small repair. The bottom cupboard and overall area is pretty much ok.
As you can see from the rear view it was attached to a wall by screw and two brass horse shoe type fixings. Because of its design being top heavy, due to the overhang it does not stand unaided.Overall width at the widest point 56cm. Depth Top Cupboard Front to Back 43cm. The top cupboard over hangs the bottom by approx 14cm. The two carved side panels measurements are approx 58cm x 13.5cm. The carved top door approx 57.5cm x 38.5cm. Please examine the pictures carefully as they do represent much of my description. If you have any doubt. Viewing is welcomed DH3 3PP. However I have the contact details of a reliable local transport company.
