The simple clean lines of the sideboard have proved to be timeless, and it will suit modern interiors as much as period houses. The piece had two side doors, which open and close perfectly, and three different sized drawers, which again slide as new. It is in generally very good condition as can be seen by the photographs - structurally it is perfect with no missing screws, cracks, woodworm or anything.
Aesthetically, there are a couple of areas on the top that may need attention, including a water mark, and some pen marks. We bought the sideboard in 1998 and it has always been inside.
The piece was originally limed oak, but this has faded on the top (it was like this when we bought it) and we have made no attempt to sand, or re-apply the liming. Some light restoration work could bring this sideboard back to a stunning condition. The sideboard is by collection only, and you are welcome to arrange courier collection from Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire.
