Please remember a fireside chair is meant to have a low seat to warm yourself as you come in. A highly collectable, rare and original piece, this chair came from a farm here in the Yorkshire Dales. The frame is solid with no movement, there is no woodworm or damage and I believe this is its original rush seat. There is a very beautiful inlaid detail to the back of the chair, hardly noticeable but absolutely stunning detail a very rare find indeed. This is an absolutely beautiful little bedroom or fireside chair and would be perfect for the home, display or a prop.
