A stunning impressive English solid sterling silver Arts and Crafts style bowl. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1933 with the makers mark being JD&S for James Deakin & Sons. It has been beautifully designed having nicely shaped handles with the body being superbly embossed with fleur-de-lis. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs - just the odd faint mark.
It measures 6 inches (15.2cms) wide including the handles and over 4.25 inches (11.3cms) excluding them by 2.75 inches (7cms) tall to the top of the handles and impressively weighs 150 grams.
