The dressing mirror has its original beveled glass, which does have a little bit of foxing to the edges (see photos), but this gives a lovely character. The main chest has an unusual sarcophagus shape, with three long graduated drawers, There are also two small drawers above the main chest each side of the mirror. All have their original copper handles. The drawers carry a Rg No 344747 as shown in the photos.
I have not been able to track down the maker or catalogue associated with the Registration no, but this would be typical of the period and Liberty & Co or Maple & Co style furniture of the period. It has been well looked after. More information and photographs can be provided if requested. The item "Unusual Arts and Crafts Dressing Table possibly Liberty & Co" is in sale since Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
