Stunning 1920s arts and crafts reclining oak framed chair with original upholstery. The chair has a wonderful patina to the oak whilst the seat is internally sprung (as can be seen from below).. The chair reclines easily by pushing against the back so it glides into position, great for snoozing. The condition of the chair is as shown.
The runners are a little worn due to age but work very well. The upholstery is original yet still in in incredibly good condition considering it is over 100years old. The colours are still bright.(obviously the cloth does not comply to modern fire standards but was produced prior to 1950). The under canvas is exposed as shows the springs etc.. This does not affect the chair use or look. Non smoking house and stored in dark and dry conditions. The chair is shown as collection only which could be personal or by courier.
Please contact me if you have any questions. I have collected many items over the years and it is now time to let some go as well as finally have room in an overflowing loft. So please study them carefully. If you are are uncertain of anything please contact me and ask. I have looked up the costs of all the items and tried to keep the starting price fair in order to allow market forces to dictate.
If you get a bargain then good as we will both win.
