19th Century Arts and Crafts Corner Chair

  
An elegant 19th century Arts & Crafts corner chair made of beech, this has a lovely double splat with central roundels and decorative turned spindles. It has two stretchers on each of the four sides and a rush seat. This is an attractive piece which has the appearance of delicacy, but it stands sturdily and will make an ideal option for a hall chair or to tuck into a corner of any room where an additional seat might be required. Dating to circa 1880, this is made of beech and rushing, and originates from the UK.

In good age related condition, this has the minor wear expected for a piece of this age. It has a small chip from the central corner top roundel, but the rushing is in good condition and the piece stands well to the floor.
