A pair of Arts and Crafts copper electric wall lights lamp with Stuart shades

  

A splendid pair of Arts and Crafts hand made / beaten solid copper early electric wall lights with a pair of original'Peacock Eye' teardrop shades. The shades most likely made by Stuarts of Stourbridge. The oak patress have been made for the lights and the whole light bracket mounted measures 17 1/2 inches high.

12 inches across the widest point at the top and 7 1/4 inches across the widest point at the bottom. The shades are really beautiful with fabulous colouring. They are very slightly different in size but that will be due to being hand blown. Not noticeable when on the lights. The shades measure 7 1/2 inches to the end of the knop. The lights are wired to to British standards but will need checking by a qualified electrician before use. The galleries are copper with brass screws and are a later addition. They are a really fine looking and rare pair of wall lights from the period.
