Antique 1910s Arts and Crafts Hammered Brass Swans and Green Glass Necklace Vtg

  
Absolutely extraordinary circa 1910s brass necklace featuring large stones of intricately marbled, opaque, green glass. The smaller stones are framed by ornate swans which rest on hammered panels. The craftsmanship and design details display elements of both Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau influences. This piece is very striking in person and it is not small.

Each panel measures a little under 1.5" wide, including the links, and 5/8" tall. The necklace is 15.5 in length and it closes with the original old spring clasp. It is unmarked and it is in excellent condition with no damage to the stones, no verdigris, and a light, original patina.
