Antique Arts And Crafts Liberty Morris Style Lathback Fireside Chair Rush Seat. This original Arts and Crafts fireside chair was most likely retailed by Liberty and Co of London and is in the "Cotswold" Arts and Crafts style with many similarities to those made by William Morris & Co.

It would make a fabulous addition to any country/farmhouse style home and has a lovely rustic aesthetic. It has a very low seat, the purpose of which was so that you were as close to the fire as possible. It features a rush seat and "lath" (or wavy) back together with barley twist decorative additions in the back support. It has been previously fully sanded, stained and restored and has a nice mid/golden tone to the beech frame. Some of the original darker finish can be seen on the underside.

The rush seat has also been fully replaced and restored. Height to seat - 12.5. Maximum width - 19.25. Maximum depth - 19.25.
