A beautiful antique, late Victorian / early Edwardian era oak smokers cabinet. Very well made, cut from quality sections of nicely grained stained oak with a dark finish. This is a fine example of the Arts and Crafts design of the era with its hand carved floral panel doors with poker work accents. It has a concealed integral pipe rack within the top of the lid so that pipes can be displayed across the top and selected easily. There is space for a tobacco jar. Inside there are two fitted drawers, and a shelf area to both the top and the bottom for further storage. There is a copper plated key plate and it has the original key but it does not seem to lock, the cabinet has double doors. An extremely handsome and well executed cabinet for the tobacciana collector that is also deceptively spacious within.
Very good used condition overall, some light surface wear, a little patina, no key, door does not seem to lock, lower drawer a later replacement. 7.25 length / depth.
