Antique Arts and Crafts quarter sawn oak panelled room with 12 matching doors

  

Recently removed from an Arts and Crafts house, built in 1906, a truly spectacular package of panelling, doors and brass work. All elements of the house wear their original finish (apart from a century of polish) and are in excellent condition. The oak quarter sawn Panelling and Doors were carefully removed by myself and my team from the ground floor of the property.

The panelling is six feet tall and comes in at a total of 69 running feet and is solid oak (last photo shows the rear of a panel so you can see how well made it is). All the top shelf and dental tooth detail has been saved, as has the skirting board (every piece has the original labelling to aid reinstallation). In addition, we salvaged five matching quarter sawn oak doors, including a double door (in main photo).

These are also solid oak with recessed detailing and are in original finish with great patina. One has been painted on one side which could be stripped, if required. These are included in the package. The first floor had another seven pine doors of matching design and these are included as well.

These are painted with the original black on the hall side and white gloss on the bedroom side. All the brass work made by Gibbons of Wolverhampton was carefully removed and retained. This includes one large slide bolt and two small bolts, 10 pairs of handles including a spectacular wire handle, 10 matching pairs of lock covers and one heart lock cover and all screws.

All brass work is included. We also collected four matched oak panels to allow replacing of the panels previously cut for 3x light switches 1x socket (these simply slot in from behind) and also oak lengths to allow replacement plugs for fixing screws covers etc.
