Antique Arts and Crafts Students Bureau Oak Copper Straps and Handles 28 inch
Antique Arts and Crafts Oak Students bureau dating to around 1920s. This is no ordinary plain bureau, it has many stylish features.
Has wonderfully elaborate copper straps and handles. Golden oak colour, raised bauble decoration to sides.
Cutaway carvings to side feet. Has pull out supports to stabilize writing surface with matching finial knobs the same as the pull down writing surface. Has fitted interior, a drawer and 2 shelves, overhanging top shelf. The drawer handles are cast metal bronze look. In good condition with only minor wear if any. The copper straps have raised undulations in the metal which seems to be intentional. Has a replacement back board and new brass hinges to flap.
