Antique Arts & Crafts stained pine and brass COAL SCUTTLE purdonium

  

A stained pine coal scuttle / purdonium. Stained pine outer with fancy brass hinges and handle. Pine liner with metal brackets holding it together. It measures 50cms long by 36cms tall (not including the handle) by 33cms wide.

The finish on the wood is worn, chipped and crackled. The shovel is not the original but fits well in the holder on the back.
