For sale is this restored and beautifully detailed antique arts and crafts cast iron fireplace, reclaimed from a country property in Cheshire. It is a lovely piece of history from the turn of the century and would look beautiful over an existing chimney breast opening. It has been carefully and professionally stripped, then given a protective heatproof coating and burnished to bring out its original Victorian period character.

The entire fireplace is made of solid cast iron in excellent condition, with foundry marks on the reverse. It has aged beautifully with lots of texture in the patina. During restoration we retained the original parts, repaired the grate and added a set of antique period bars.

The final look is beautiful and will instantly add character to your home. It has discreet mounting lugs beneath the shelf for simple and safe installation.
