Antique Copper Kettle French Arts and Crafts 1900 Coins 15 Art Nouveau. Arts & Crafts copper with applied brass sections that have been hammered and stamped. A couple of copper 10 centimes coins have been integrated into the design. The base appears to be iron and has an Art Nouveau organic design. Backstamps/Marks no makers marks found.

Condition It is well used, much loved, polished over the years areas are heavily rubbed as you can see from the coins some bending to the hand and a small crack a one end see image it's a little wonky - I love all this it is a completely unique item that has been made for a French home by a skilled artisan I find the mix of Art and Crafts and Art Nouveau elements in the base fascinating. If you look carefully you continue to see more and more like the worn but still visible stamping that is on the handle as well as the applied brass plaques, the lovely visible fixing etc. Not only is it a stunning well made practice and much loved and used item it's size is astonishing measures 15 inch high and wide.
