Arts and Craft Style Oak Chest of Drawers

  

A Good Looking Chest of Drawers in the Arts and Craft Style. In a lovely dark golden oak with great grain definition. A well made chest with four drawers In a nice rustic style sat on a nice deep skirting with four bun feet below.

Each drawer has matching dimpled metal back plates with loop handles. It has a squared top with graduating full width drawers below. It's been used but is still in good condition and still has plenty to offer. The finish of the timber is in good order I have given it a good wax polish and its come up really well. It's a bit rustic and has seen a bit of life but it's got a great look to and is a very well made piece.

As with all items of age they can show signs of ware and use but they can also have a huge amount of character that you may not always find in newer pieces. There is a bit of marking and bruising here and and there on the skirt and sides (see photos). There is a little marking to the front of the drawers here and there and a couple of scratches etc (see photos). The chest is well made and heavy. Depth - 37.5 cm. Overall a lovely looking chest that's a bit rustic overall but has tons of character. I've priced it keenly to allow for the ware and use over time.
