A superb and rare Arts and Crafts Silvered Brass and Copper with Enamel Jewellery casket of Austrian origin decorated in the highly stylised Jugendstil Secessionist style. This most beautiful and untouched casket with. Its original high quality enamel. Unusually retains its original silver plating.

Which completely sets this example apart from the more commonly seen brass and copper examples. Size: 13cm width x 10cm depth x 8.5cm height. Markings: Stamped'A' and numerals 2 and 3 to the base and to the inside of lid. Condition: In superb original condition with slight wear to some of the silver plate, the cedar wood interior lining and hinge are intact, there is no key present.
