Charming Arts and Crafts Bureau, Hand Painted.. A lovely hand painted bureau, that has a pull down desk top, lots of cubby holes and larger drawer storage below. Being around 100 years old it show signs of wear and age on its paintwork but I loved this for that very reason.

The details in the painting are lovely, even including a dragonfly. I think as the wood is so heavy that it is probably oak, but the metal drawer handles are of an Arts And Crafts design so I would date this piece from around that time. It did have a key for the desk top, but somehow has gone missing in the move.. The drawers could do with some soaping to make them run more smoothly. Measurements are width 108cm, height 102 cm, depth 45cm.
