Antique Arts and Crafts Copper Fire screen with Wrought Iron Framework in the manner of metalworkers James and Frederick Pool located in Hayle , Cornwall - Circa 1900. Repousse hand hammered copper design displaying stylised flowers in the shape hearts was used on many items by J & F Pool.

The London agent for J & f Poole was Henry Campbell who produced the 1909 catalogue. A really splendid'Arts and Crafts' screen and very rare. MAX HEIGHT : 72 cm MAX WIDTH : 55 cm. Fairly heavy and very stable having the wrought iron splayed feet and an iron bracing framework at the rear.
