Arts and Crafts Copper Kettle Extremely Rare Old Antique Square Mesh Golf Ball

  

Antique Ephemera, Paper, Prints, Cigarette Cards, Books, and Comics. Extremely rare antique Copper Arts and Craft style Kettle or teapot in the shape of a Square Mesh golf ball.

The item measures approximately 21 cm 7 inches high to the top of the handle and the same to the end of the spout. The lid closes really nice and tightly, the top finial hinge is securely attache but spins.

The are a couple of bumps to one side but this does not detract from the item. I think there may have been an old problem with the spout attachment to the ball as there are signs of residue possibly from some fixing agent. I have absolutely no idea of the age of this the marks do not give any assistance to me in this but Im sure there are some reference book available to determine the maker / date. Im pretty sure that it will be 1920s or earlier from the shape of the ball- I really dont know? Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my item for sale.
