Arts and Crafts Wooden Pine Book Shelves Unusually Tall and Narrow 58 high

  

Unusually tall Arts and Crafts wooden shelves. These shelves appear to be made of old pine which had a dark stain applied rather than oak or some other hard wood.

They would have been made circa 1900 and being narrow as well as tall they are both practical and decorative. In good solid condition with no damage of any note and no woodworm. These shelves have surface marks/scratches and a patina consistent with being over 100 years old. This patina means the outer sides are somewhat patchy in colour.

The shelves on which the books stands are generally nice and clean with only minor marks/scratches. Max width is between 12 and 12.25 inches. Max depth 6.25 inches.
