Arts & Crafts Beaten Copper on Wood with Felt Lining Slipper Warmer Box

  
Here we have a superb Arts & Crafts movement Box used for Slippers. Originally this would have been by the fireside to store your slippers and keep them warm. Fully Hand Beaten design, the Copper over the top of the wooden structure. The inside is also lined with felt which is in great order. One side of the lid does have a split to the Copper, please see photograph 12. This is a very early Box however and in great order really for age of item. Total length 39cm, width 25cm, height at back 21cm, at front 15cm.
