Arts & Crafts Oak and Leather Stool by Simpson

  

Classic oak stool with tapering legs and interwoven leather strap seat. Although unmarked and slightly taller than usual, it is a well-known Arts and Crafts design by Arthur Simpson of Kendal. Still serviceable as a stool although the leather has stretched from use. Otherwise a great footstool or decorative piece for stacking cushions or blankets while not in use. 46 x 44.5 x 34 cm.
