Attractive and unique Arts & Crafts PAIR of oak bookcases. Beautiful craftsmanship, antique style and handcrafted in Derbyshire from high-quality Oak with stunning french polished finish. The classic custom design of the bookcases is complemented with a 3d V detail carved into the foot of each pillar.

Each shelf has a V shaped divider to enable books to fit neatly in the bend. The bookcases were originally designed for a bay window, but they could be free-standing in a larger room.

The finish to the back of the bookcases is to the same high quality as the front. This bespoke furniture was custom designed and built by Kedleston Traditional French Polishers in Derby (a furniture conservation and restoration specialist) around 20 years ago to hold a collection of Art books. House sale leads to the reluctant sale of this furniture.

Dimensions are approximately Width 90 cm x Depth 32.5 cm x Height 66.5 cm. A sketch showing the approximate dimensions is included with the photos.

Condition is used / very good condition. There is a small chip to one of feet on a back pillar (shown in the photos), and there is some natural lightening to the top of the bookcases as they have been situated in a bay window in natural light.
