Beautiful carved table with shaped legs. These tables were hand carved in Japan for Liberty & Co during the early 1900's, they were commissioned by Liberty as part of their more exotic range of antique furniture when there was fashion for everything Japanese.
They were hand carved by Japanese fishermen, made in numbered sections, (this table has the number 854 underneath both tiers) for easy packing and transportation, and assembled at the "Eastern Bazaar" in their Regent Street headquarters in London. There is no retailers mark but clearly a Liberty piece. The table is in excellent condition and has a lovely colour and patina.
Dimensions each table: 64cms wide x 40 cms deep x 71 cms high. This item is in the category "Antiques\Antique Furniture\Other Antique Furniture". The seller is "pollydog11" and is located in this country: GB. This item can be shipped to United Kingdom.
