Finish the surrounding are reflecting onto the wardrobe. This is a very rare unique original Edwardian triple Arts and Crafts wardrobe. This wardrobe is made from solid oak throughout, a hand made period wardrobe of its time by the famous maker Harris Lebus. The wardrobe has the patent label dated 1904 and the signature drawer construction that Lebus are famous for. This wardrobe has two outer carved solid panelled doors, with a central arch topped bevelled edge mirror door.

The left and central doors opens to reveal a brass side to side hanging rail which takes modern hangers with 6 sliding brass hanging hooks on the rail and an additional 8 hooks on the back and side panels, in the base of this section is a double width drawer with brass flip handles. The right hand door opens to reveal four sliding linen press trays and three graduating drawers all with brass flip handles. The wardrobe has a lovely large deep plinth with dental mountings and a base with slight swept feet and sides. This wardrobe is completely original, with the outer doors of the wardrobe have the most beautiful intricate carved detailing typical of the Arts and Crafts movement in the "Liberty style" with lilies, petals and leaves, encompassing four small glass windows viewing the original material behind.

The doors have there original brass aged handles, the left door holds closed with brass sliding bolts, the central and right doors have the original working push/turn closing catches. The wardrobe offers masses of storage and hanging and would be a wonderful centre piece to any bedroom, hallway or landing.

This wardrobe divides into 4 parts plus the main doors (top plinth, double hanging section, tray/drawer section, base). Drawer heights 180mm, 200mm, 230mm x 2. Tray heights 280mm, 250mm x 3.

As with all antiques/vintage/used items please remember they are not brand new and will always show signs of age and use, (the drawers and one tray is a little tight on opening/closing), this is generally accepted with antique and vintage furniture, with the pictures forming part of the description.
