Liberty & Co Hand Carved Japanese Table Lily Pad c1910 Arts & Crafts

  
This is a beautiful hand carved piece, made in Japan for Liberty & co in around 1910-13. These were imported in a flat pack state then assembled. This is the Lily Pad design - nice to see this larger version as the carving really is stunning.

Antique, despite the repair it's actually in really lovely condition. They were hand carved by Japanese fishermen, made in numbered sections for easy packing and transportation, and assembled at the "Eastern Bazaar" in their Regent Street headquarters in London.

This one is carved with Sunflowers and has a slight green colour to the lower shelf, please see pictures. Collection from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire or happy to allow a courier to collect.
