Marion Henderson Wilson is considered one of the Glasgow Girls, and she attended the Glasgow School of Art from about 1884 until 1896. She was also a regular exhibitor at the Glasgow Society Lady Artists' Club. Her speciality was mainly in metalwork, often in the arts and crafts or Glasgow Style.

Offered is a Scottish Arts and Crafts brass circular charger from circa 1920, the centre with relief decoration of a masted sailing vessel upon waves, within a wide border embossed with three roundels, dated 1920 and with initials I. H (possibly a wedding present- these would be the initials of the bride and groom). Monogrammed MHW at the lower right of the central galleon. A rare and beautiful display piece in good condition.
