Pair Of Arts And Crafts Oak Dining Chairs By E A Taylor For Wylie And Lochhead. Lovely pair of very nicely made Glasgow School Arts and Crafts dining chairs dating from around 1910. These were designed by the famous E A Taylor and made by Wylie Lochhead of Glasgow. They are in excellent unrestored condition structurally with no signs of worm damage, and no major scratches or marks. The covers are in a blue leatherette (likely recovered in the 1950s) which is in excellent condition, if not perhaps the best choice of colour.
One of the chairs has a historic chip to the decorative piece on the top bar of the back rest. This would include re-webbing, etc.
