Stunning Arts and Crafts mahogany dragonfly inlaid chair c 1900 Liberty quality

  

Superb Arts & Crafts mahogany child's chair with new upholstery. The inlays are satinwood with green wood and are shaped like an elongated dragon fly on the back struts and underneath the seat there is a shortened version.

Dating from the beginning of the 20th century this is a fine example of the period. The mahogany is in excellent condition and the inlay on both the back and the chair strut are absolutely classic Art Nouveau. This quality could easily have come from somewhere like Liberty of London or Shapland and Petter. The colour of the upholstery is a bright teal and closest to the colour shown on the 8th and 10th photos of the seat pad. The dimensions (at largest) are.
