Lovely original Arts and Crafts reclining armchair in dark oak, with 3 position reclining back with contoured arms, turned legs and slatted sides with typical Arts and Crafts cut-out decoration. Super quality with original finish. Later reupholstered in off white cotton with delicate flower design. In excellent condition in every way with no cracks, splits, dents to the frame or stains to the covers. I don't know the maker however an identical chair is shown in-situ in an illustration on page 45 of the Studio Yearbook for 1926 so fair to assume the chair dates to somewhere around this date. Collection in person or courier please from Nottingham NG3 or Newark NG24.
