Superb matched pair arts and crafts exterior gas lamps

  
Superb pair matched exterior arts and crafts wall lights. These are a rare and lovely pair of outside wall gas lamps. Made from a mixture of blacksmith wrought iron and sheet metal as well as fabricated fittings with brass gas taps. Unbelievably they retain the original brass and ceramic gas burners, these have not been converted to electric so could theoretically still be used with gas if required. Normally I would rewire lamps like these but it is so incredibly rare to find them "as taken from the building "that they are left as is at present.

It would be a simple job to convert to electric but it would mean losing the gas diffusers and enlarging the gas taps. I have re-glazed these with lightly etched clear glass as most of the original glass was broken or missing.

This is in keeping with the original glass. They measure 12" x 12" approximately.
