Vintage Liberty & Co Arts & Crafts Japanese Style Two Tier Carved Lamp Table. Beautifully detailed on both tiers and still very practical. Collection from Leigh on Sea or Brentwood. A beautiful small two tiered Japanese carved Arts & Crafts table for Liberty & Co circa 1905.

With leaf motif carving to both the top and bottom and standing on three carved legs. In good condition with good colour and patina, this lovely table would make a fabulous lamp table or coffee table. These tables were hand carved in Japan for Liberty & Co during the early 1900's, they were commissioned by Liberty as part of their more exotic range of antique furniture when there was fashion for everything Japanese. Made in numbered sections for easy packing and transportation, and assembled at the "Eastern Bazaar" in their Regent Street headquarters in London. Approximate size 70cm x 40cm x 40cm.
